The Home of the Parowan City Visitors Center was built about 1915 and housed one of the first auto dealerships south of Provo. According to the "Parowan Times", Sam Halterman sold Parowan City its first motorized hearse for a little over a thousand dollars. The upstairs of the building was a telephone company. Today the center shares its door with the Parowan Events Center and Chamber of Commerce.
Books, cups and other souvenirs can be purchased. Historical information and brochures are available to help make your stay in Southern Utah enjoyable.
