Notice of Public Hearing - October 26, 2023

Parowan City Council will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Thursday, October 26^th, 2023, in the council chambers located at 35 E. 100 N., Parowan, to consider an ordinance which amends the Parowan City Municipal Land Use Codes 15.02.140 and 15.02.150.  This ordinance would amend the process by which zoning ordinances are amended by changing the number of days’ notice that must be given for a public hearing from 14 days to 10 days.  It would also change the council’s responsibility from “shall hold a public hearing” to “may hold a public hearing” regarding zoning ordinance amendments.

The public is invited to attend this hearing and offer comments to the City Council regarding the proposed amendments.  Written comments may also be submitted to the City Recorder’s office at the above-mentioned address, or e-mailed to callie@parowan.org
