Parowan Arts Program Third Thursday Schedule (schedule subject to change):

August 17, 2023 - Plein Air, Halterman Brother's Farm. Suggested Medium: Watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital, or artist's choice

September 21, 2023 - Plein Air, Parowan Heritage Park. Suggest Medium: Watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital, or artist's choice

October 19, 2023 - Portraiture and Figure Drawing. Parowan Fire Station, Suggested Medium: Graphite, charcoal, conte crayon, or digital.

November 16, 2023 - Illustration Via Watercolor. Parowan Fire Station, Medium: Watercolor.

December 21, 2023 - Still Life with Christmas Objects.  Site TBA.  Medium: Acrylic

January 18, 2024 - Founders Day Celebration, Parowan Senior Center.  An Annual Social near Parowan's Birthday. Dinner, socializing, and a demonstration.  Includes the presentation of the Mayor's Award for Artistic Merit.  $$ There will be a fee to attend this event.

February 15, 2024 - Animals, Parowan Fire Station. Suggested Medium: Graphite, charcoal, conte crayon or digital.

March 21, 2024 - Photographing Nouns (persons, places, things), Parowan Fire Station.  Medium: Bring your cell phone or a digital camera.

April 18, 2024 - Learn to Sculpt!, Parowan Fire Station.  Medium: Clay will be provided.

May 16, 2024 - Plein Air, Aladdin Theater.  Suggested Medium: Watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital, or artist's choice.

June 20, 2024 - Plein Air, Roy Adams Farms. Suggested Medium: Watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital, or artist's choice.

All events begin at 6:00 p.m.  Bring your own supplies unless otherwise directed.  The inclement weather alternative is always the Parowan Fire Station, 290 W. 200 S.  This program is participant driven and events were selected based on participant input.
